In particular I like the flower watch. The high monument is also impressive and important. And the history that happened here is new, important and violent.

It‘s a nice square. There are no beggars around like in another big cities in Europe. There‘s a metro station ( Maidan Nezalezhnosti ).

A good little spot to walk through and people watch. Lots of fountains and stands selling food ice cream and coffee, and it seems very popular with the local people as a meeting place or just somewhere to hang out.

Very moving square. Big memorials to the fallen soldiers and police and people who died for freedom. There are many reminders of 2014 when the square was on fire. It's all cleaned up with only one building still closed.
