In all practicality this is a small forest with a bunch of squirrels and other small critters. You forget you're in the city, forget the traffic and noise of the city. It's very green, very peaceful. Could spend here an hour or more, up to you.

First of all, there are two botanical gardens in Kyiv: this one, and the larger one in Pechersk. This one is much smaller and less organized - but the nicest aspect is that it's in the middle of City Center, and attracts more people. This garden is great for a stroll, but don't expect a lot of explanations or signage... More

It is a lot of flowers to see, wear comfortable shoes and you have to go there when flowers bloom otherwise many are still sleeping. Place is pretty clean, not many people when I went. You can have a picnic there or sit on a bench and relax. You can bring your own food and water and don't litter.

We had a nice walk .... but, it was a very tired & not well kept Botanical garden. There was some species of Trees on display, but not well marked or signposted.

Escape here to idyllic setting in middle of one of Europe's largest cities. A few minutes here and you forget you're in center of Kiev. Air is fresh with wooded rolling hills. Absolute narural paradise within urban environment.

I spent many quiet days and evenings in this local paradise, watching seasons pass slowly by, and many beautiful sunsets...

These botanic gardens are excellent in springtime. Lots to see and lots to do means they are always very popular but are well worth a visit. Quite different to western gardens it means they are extremely interesting to visit. There are many restaurants and cafes nearby for refreshments.

This park is nice. A lot of vegetation here and benches to sit on and relax. If you're in the area I would check it out.
