Definitely check out the circus because they put one one amazing show! Tickets are pretty cheap and can be purchased at the ticket booth in the front of the building - getting here is tricky transit wise, but it would be best to take the metro to Universityet, then walk the 10-15 minutes to the Circus (it's right across from... Lots of variety. Acrobats, trapeze artists, motor cross riders doing stunt leaps, camels, horses, dogs, cats, clowns. Great for kids and adults alike. For $7 per ticket there is no better value in Kyiv except for the Metro that costs 16 cents per ticket. All seats have an excellent view of activities and arena is normally sold out.

It was a cold sunday afternoon, we visited this circus. When you enter the old building, you know immediatly there will be a lot of animals, this smell. Prices are high for locals, from 50 up to 200 UAH. We took seats from 120 UAH (wooden old not comfortable). Before the show there are plenty of little animals (dogs, pony,... More

Prolly due to the crisis but the show was very bland. The circus is cute and has local color. But it smells bad and all shows had dull choreography

I had always heard about the famous Kiev Circus and its training school for various acts and clowns. I took my nephew, wife and in-laws to the circus and it was most intriguing. The circus building is a round concrete structure local near a heavy traffic location. Outside the show are various vendors selling toys, balloons and other circus related... More

You can feel that the glory days of Kiev circus have passed by, but the kids loved it anyway. Some performance could be shorter or maybe need to be changed to make it more excited . The one with Lions need to be updated. However it maybe is the best time killing in a rainy day in Kiev

If you have time to spare in Kyiv, visit the Circus there, i went there to see Russian national performers, a show on ice - it is not something you see in the western part of europe. Make sure to buy tickets in the small shops in the underground, as there are many hrv to save then. The Building is... More

A great afternoon out - starting at 1700 and finishing 3 hours later at 20.00. My toddler was a bit too restless and dare I say a bit too young at 2 years old to truly enjoy it - but Mum and Dad did. At 100 Hrvnia a ticket it does not break the bank and was great value. You... More
