We went with a Ukrainian family which made it even more special. We had a very interesting and knowledgable guide. It is a true museum. Spectacular and full of history and wonderful ambience both inside and outside.

A must visit, a most beautiful Orthodox Cathedral. Icons, colours, tranquility and serenity. There are other beautiful cathedrals in Kiev but this stood out as stunning.

Plan to spend at least 3 hours to soak up all the rich history. Absolutely amazing place with a number of English interpretations. I would suggest buying the complete tour. Definitely worth it.

Beautiful and well maintained complex, required to pay at the entrance (20 hryvnia) and can be extended entrance ticket cost 80 hryvnia to include also the exhibitions. The place itself is not very big, well kept and cared for.
