This is one of the top tourist attractions in El Salvador.
Located in the biological corridor call Apaneca-Ilamatepec, Santa Ana volcano is considered one of the jewels of Central America.
If you are looking for the best things to do , We have designed this tour for you.
The walk takes approximately 2 hours to climb and another 2 hours to descend, this can vary according to the physical condition of the people. On top of the volcano you can see one of the best craters worldwide with an emerald green lagoon,

At the end of the adventure we drive to Coatepeque lake for a relaxing time and have lunch.
The tour is fantastic for nature lovers or adventurers.

It's a must visit if you go with a under 10 years old children that is going to enjoy a lot all the things there are. There's an airplane, train, "gravity house" among a lot of things there are for children. I recommend to go in the morning because it feels more "alive" because children from school go at that time.

This museum has loads of activities, everyone, no matter their age will enjoy. Staff is amazingly friendly. It is a place where kids can be what they’ve always dreamed about (firefighter, banker, TV reporter, actor, doctor, dentist and tons of other things)! The cost is GREAT $3 per person and $1 extra if u want to check out the planetary. I like that this museum has literally not a single “don’t touch” poster because each activity needs kids to take part in it. Kids get to learn a lot in a super fun way. For parents: I bet you’ll still have fun, many exhibitions include parents like in the TV, kids will be the main reporters but parents can help just with the weather forecast.
