The Metrocentro is located right across the Intercontinental Hotel in Managua. It is not to be confused with the Multicentro Las Americas; which is located in the neighborhood of Bello Horizonte. The Metrocentro is clean, modern, and comparable to malls in small towns and cities across the U. S. The prices are comparable to U. S. prices and some stores here quote in dollars instead of cordobas. Some employees speak English in stores, it varies. For example, we went to the shoe outlet called "Sportline America" and there was a gentleman who spoke English there. We went to another Sportsline outlet in a different mall, and no one spoke English at that store. There is a food court located at the top floor of the metrocentro, and a few restaurants and eateries near the enterance of the mall.
Metrocentro is a good place to hang out if you would like to explore a mall in Managua. It is clean and modern. Due to COVID-19 (coronavirus); there are many signs posted about handwashing and hygiene. When we arrived; they were just about done putting up the signs throughout the mall. There are also multiple sanitzer stations placed throughout the mall as well.

We were trying to decide which mall to visit... we ended up going to both Metrocenter and Galerías Santo Domingo... we found the other reviews of Metrocenter to be accurate... although both malls had some of the same stores Galerías had more restaurants and stores... we preferred Galerías

Very conveniently located next to the Intercontinental Hotel, it is on two levels. The collection of shops is good. There are a few restaurants and also a Food Court with fast food outlets. The Mall also has a cinema.

As has been said before this is not a tourist attraction. It's a mall like any other. Not the fanciest in Managua and not the cheapest. If you need something you can probably pick it up here. Otherwise it's not really exciting.

Large mall close to the Hilton and very close to the Intercontinental. About 1/3 of the stores were familiar to me (Nike, United Colors of Benetton, Payless Shoes, etc) and the remaining Nicaraguan counterparts. Like most malls, mostly shoes and clothes, but also housewares, a large grocery store, jewelry and way too many cellular outlets (just like home). There is also a fast food court, large and very busy, and a multi screen movie theater. The mall has AC, but there is an area where it is open to the outside, so inside isn't an escape from the heat. Individual stores have better AC. There are benches and good lighting in the common areas.

This is the kind of place any tourist would visit. Firstly, it is a kind of American mall, with prices shown in US dollars. Secondly, food or any other product are supervised with standards of some sort of hygiene; so, you do not have to worry about preparation. It is a good place to hang out, at first. ATM, movie theatre, cafeterias, and pubs are located throughout.

Is there a store in this mall where I can buy something for an infant? Could I purchase a bouncy seat and a mobile here?
