Our trip to Las Lajas was longer than anticipated. We had a great room with 3 beds. We enjoyed the beach and the pool. Our meals were great. The buffalo shrimp was a highlight. The sunset over the Pacific was beautiful. Las Lajas was easy to locate on paved roads except for the last 500 meters. I would recommend a... More

IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO LEAVE HECTIC BEHIND YOU, YOU WILL FIND LAS LAJAS SUNSET BEACH........ Sunset Beach is where I head. Great new friends who started a beach, bar and restaurant. Where you can meet LIKE MINDED people from all over. It's the place to be for a great day out, or stay at their new little B &... More

Las Lajas is 21 km of basically undeveloped, warm water, sandy beach. Waves were not good for surfing and perfect for swimming. The perfect place to tan, swim, and read a book. The area has not yet developed more than a couple of amenities for tourists, which means that it is empty except during the New Year when thousands of... More

stunning beach with incredible sunsets, this is a wide sandy beach which stretches for miles, a wonderful place to stroll along and watch the birds, the sea is not suitable for swimming as it is unprotected and has serious undertows.

Beautiful beach in Las Lajas. Free parking along the beach. We did not run into too many bars/restuarants though.

We took a day trip by car from Boquete. A 1 hour drive on a black top road that cuts off Boquete Highway takes you to the Panamerican Highway and once there turning left, about an hour longer towards Panama City, then you turn right under a large metal sign that announces Las Lajas. The entire drive is picturesque and... More

Its B & B on this most wonderful beach in Panama. We stayed there for three nights. The rooms are most comfortable, clean and with a great pool. The hosts Flavio and Pillar provided the best breakfast during our stay. It is a very peaceful place right on this wonderful 17 KM long beach Highly recommended.

The swimming is good here, no riptide or such but some bigger waves. Miles of deserted golden sands. Being tidal, low-tide sunset walks are incredible.Definitely one of my best spots to see the sun set on the Pacific. The beach is safe, the whole area is lovely and stay at Casa Laguna: wonderful B&B and lovely people.

We only found out about the existence of this place when we first set foot in Playa Las Lajas at about 7:30 pm and checked in at a different place. When we enquired about where to have dinner, we were told that at Refugio Tropical they “cook until late” (late being 9:30 pm). Anyhow, we had dinner and noticed that... More
