Our guide suggested this was a great way to see iguana and sloths and other animals indigenous to Panama. We found the indoor exhibit on frogs unremarkable and the outdoor exhibits run-down and cheesy. If you want to see Panama's flora and fauna, this isn't...More

This established by the Smithsonian Museum. A leisurely walk to discover. Sloths in trees. Tortoises, starfish, lionfish, sea creatures, corals. A picturesque overview of rocks into the ocean. Picnic area.

Exhibits with live animals were very approachable. The staff is very eager to speak English and share knowledge. I would have liked some info on why the Smithsonian is there and what they have accomplished.

We saw iguanas and sloths in the trees. There were exhibits of turtles, starfish, fish. We did not go in the frog exhibit. We spent about an hour here but could have stayed longer to enjoy the views. We were able to touch a starfish....More

This a small nature center, with a frog conservation, a few resident sloths and a couple of turtles. Don’t expect anything spectacular. The good thing is that you can get really close to the animals and take nice photos.

We are nature lovers, and this place seemed to be very nice, but it was a disappointment. Very little, few attractions, save your time and money and do something else.

The museum is located at the beach. The view is lovely! There is a nice walk in the forest where you can read explanations on the vegetation and weather. The exhibits are nice but somewhat scarce. The most impressive is the exhibit on frogs. It...More

Went to see sloths, we might have seen one, only because it was pointed out to us. Frig exhibit was interesting. Staff was very friendly. Noriega's Bar was a nice added plus, and we (US Veterans) liked that. It's not along the canal (in fact...More

Really enjoyed Punta Culebra. Nice walk along the canal with several nice little exhibits. At the end of their peninsula they have a small aquarium building with fresh and salt water tanks. Just outside the door was a sloth taking a nap and a few...More
