    It's a bridge
Drove over the bridge, nice views if the other cars etc weren't in the way. Stopped on the North side at the Chinese monument for some photos and that was about it. Would have preferred to walk it and get better views but that didn't seem safe, not pedestrian friendly.

A stunning bridge connecting North and South Panama
What happens when you cut a country in half with a canal? Well you end up with two separate sides. Built much after the canal was finish. The bridge made it possible to finally drive to visit your family and friends on the other side of the canal. There was ferry service, but it didn't give you the same freedom as the bridge. Being from NY, I love a good bridge, and this one is stunning. Also visit the newer bridge on the Colon side of the canal.

    It’s a bridge.
This was our main road in and out of Panama City from our resort. Lots of traffic, a challenge during rush hour especially with driving lane direction changes based on time of day. In fairness, we never walked it, but just drove over several times. We were told that our resort was in Central America and each time we drove over this bridge, we were then in South America. It is pretty to look at from a distance and a great landmark.

This was an amazing experience with beautiful views, and a nice area once you crossed for pictures and a vendor was setup for souvenirs if you wanted that.

It is not legal (any more) to walk across the bridge... while it is possible (by clmbing up over the side of the bridge just north of the "Museo de la libertad" and then walking on the north side of the road) you might be stopped by the police.
There are good views from the top of the bridge obviously.

Its cool to see boats entering and exiting canal, but the traffic getting across the bridge, or trying to reverse direction was a nightmare - the city has grown faster than infrastructure

One way to get across the Panama Canal.

Quite scenic as you sale under it when sailing through the canal itself.

Otherwise, not really a must visit location.

It doesn't look anything like the picture, lots of pot holes on the bridge,it's congested with traffic day or night even in the middle of the night on a week day. Man oh man lot of traffic just can't get over that.
