This causeway is quite impressive in the way it's been built and made a huge difference with reducing the traffic congestion. The views of the old and new cities are spectacular.

Looks like it used to be a hub, but now there are a lot of closed up shops and restaurants. Pity because the I liked the idea of going to the island created from excavation of the canal. Lot of road work happening now, still it's a nice bike ride.

The causeway connects the 3 islands and you can also see the Bridge of the Americas. You can also see the skyline of Panama city from here.

Nice place for one or two hours of walking and cycling. Really windy, it helps to survive during hot sunny day time. Perfect location to look at downtown skyscrapers. There is a cycle rent point near to the Biomuseum (and a nice restaurant with ocean view just next to cycle rent point).

Our bus tour included the causeway, which I had read about prior. It's ok but I wouldn't make a special effort. It's a causeway .....underconstruction at present but pretty enough. It reaches out through harbour-type areas to what I think is a manmade island at the end that has a marina and shops. It has a duty free shop which... More

In retrospect the Causeway is a good place to escape from congested Panama. There is a museum of biodiversity at the entrance and restaurants and points of interest such as the Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute at the other end about 1.5km away. The Flamenco Marina area is a pleasant place to hang out. Our Grandsons liked the ice cream shop.... More

Biked along the causeway. Several different places to rent all different kinds of bikes. Beautiful view of Panama City. Don't miss standing and getting your picture taken by the Panama Sign. A good variety of places to stop and get a drink, ice cream or a meal along the way.

This is a beautiful road that unifies three small and close by islands, Amador, Perico and Flamenco. At the end of it you will find the Duty Free and it is on expansion.

An excellent location to bike or walk and then have a bite in the several restaurants around. Gorgeous view of the skyline of the city.
