This was just an add-on to our short trip to New Orleans, but it turned out to be one of the highlights. The collection and display of bizarre things was very entertaining. They made excellent fodder for Facebook posts! The curator's collection is clearly a work of art.

Interesting exhibits, buttons to push to animate scenes depicting Louisiana events, lots to read, funny, enjoyable for the three dollar fee.

If you have a sense of humor you'll absolutely love this place. Even if you don't have a sense of humor I dare you not to laugh. I've never had so much fun and it only cost $3.00. It's full of the most random collections of the most random stuff but it's set up in such a creative and hilarious... More

My family was skeptical about going but after we got there they had so much fun looking at EVERYTHING. Weird, vintage, combinations of items and creativity are everywhere. It really is something to look at and appreciate the time it has taken two get it that way.

Stopped into this roadside attraction and was so happy we did. What a quirky and wonderful place, full of knock knacks and interesting things to see. An eclectic collection of stuff, a fun and quirky gift shop and plenty of photo opportunities. I can't wait to go back. Please, go here and support it. It's a real roadside attraction to... More

"Dirk, I want to take an Uber about 45 miles from New Orleans to an off-the-beaten path roadside attraction in Abita Springs." "What is it?" "It's a visionary art environment, kinda like the Philly Magic Gardens or Luna Parc." "So when we get there, is it going to be a junkyard?" "No! I mean, it's definitely weird but I think... More

Don't want to spoil it, so won't say more than go with an open heart & a sense of humour. And there's an added bonus of having the Abita Brew House just over the road. Great beer, great food :-)

Previously I have taken my 2 boys here. They insisted that I take my dad here when he came for a visit. A quirky little museum that shows you what you can do with your old junk, computer parts, paint by numbers, tabasco sauce, alligators, and much, much more! Love to take visitors here. It is pretty small, but so... More

This is an old-fashioned tourist trap with a gift shop. Lots of odd things to see. Some are interactive. $3 per person to enter
