Really enjoyed our visit to the William Paca house and gardens. We took the whole house tour which gave a glimpse of the life of a well-off family during colonial times. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging. We took a nice self-guided stroll...More

We visited on a weekday and found street parking immediately in front of the house, but it isn't far from a public parking garage. The staff is very nice. Mr. Paca (apparently pronounced pehka) signed the Declaration of Independence (look under John Hancock's signature). The...More

It's the Wandering Yank here. 4 of us visited Annapolis for the day, and we came across the Paca mansion during our walk. We didn't want to wait for the scheduled home tour, but the gardens were open so off we went. It's a very...More

We toured the house, which was fun with all of the people in period costumes in each room. The house is wonderfully restored. They had a violinist playing Christmas songs which was quite festive. No photos in the house, and of course the garden wasn't...More

We stopped in for a tour of the Paca house and garden. We were visiting in early December, so the garden was not at all in its glory. Still, we enjoyed wandering around and seeing the layout. The holly garden was still looking good. Of...More

I was there in the fall, so the gardens weren't in bloom. But it was all very interesting and was educational.

I headed to the Paca House Garden on the advice of a lovely local I met after lunch. William Paca is one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence. It was a warm day (74 in mid-October!) For a $5 I had unlimited access...More

It was nice exploring the gardens, but the house was mediocre and not really different than any other period home. Not really worth the $10.

Compared to some of the formal gardens of Europe, the garden is rather small, but it definitely charming. I would love to see the rose garden when the roses are in full bloom. There’s a wide variety of flowers, shrubs and even fruit and vegetables...More

I walked over from the Downtown area. There really is no good parking. You will probably have to park a couple blocks away or by the pier. Sometimes you find parking along the shops, but I would no suggest parking there... More
