My sisters & I took our mom (81) to Annapolis for the weekend. This tour on a 5 passenger electric car was the easiest way for our to see as much of Annapolis as possible. You MUST check out the website. Our tour guide John was amazing. He shared historical facts and anecdotes about the city and building. It was... More

It's a small little town that's fun to walk through. There's lots of history, shops, restaurants, and things to see. Don't miss the tour of the Naval Academy and the Maryland state capital.

We took the advice of folks in the welcome center and parked our car in the parking structure next to it and walked from attraction to attraction over a two day period. It was great to observe details on homes and businesses in the historic center of this city. Besides, the distances were often measured in blocks not miles! Take... More

I walked through this beautiful area while on a guided tour of Annapolis. There are many historic restaurants, coffee shops, and pubs in this area. The Annapolis City Dock is known to local boaters as "Ego Alley" because it is the weekend and evening scene of a steady parade of expensive yachts. Watch the boats as they cruise the famous... Sometimes it pays to do your homework. The Annapolis website advises motorists to leave their car at one of the park and ride spots (roughly $10 for the whole day) and take the free trolley into and around the town. We did just this and had a very enjoyable visit. Admittedly it was a cool early May day, with not... More

One of our favorite things to do in Annapolis, Maryland, is to stroll around City Dock. There are many wonderful shops and restaurants. The seafood is excellent. With the U. S. Naval Academy nearby and dozens of sailboats and yachts moored in the harbor, the "yearning for the sea" comes out in everyone. The "stroll" can be free (except for... More

Wear comfortable walking shoes to admire the town of Annapolis, Md. The shops are quit different and the shop owners are very friendly. We ate at Buddy's Seafood Restaurant. You can get crabs by the dozen or all you can eat crab meal. We decided on the great Buffet and we also ordered crabs. (Delicious) The museum was very interesting... More
