The collection is beautifully housed in a gallery on campus. The variety of the works (and the quality) make the visit a delight... something here for everyone and you can see the entire museum in less than an hour. Very easy to find your favorites...More

If you're in the area and you have some free time, this is a good place to wander and get some eye candy. And it's free!

This is a nice museum that is free. There are a few interesting items. The modern art is terrible, though (and I'm usually a fan) and is displayed in an unattractive way.

Sadly, the museum is partially closed for renovations. Only a few rooms were open. We did notice in a book describing the collection that the museum has a wonderful and varied collection. Check before visiting.

The modern art collection was varied and beautiful. Great range of works by many famous artists from all time periods. Another bonus is it's free.

I love the surprises one finds at these small, regional, usually college-affiliated art museums. One floor of art, from ancient times to contemporary works, makes up the Mead; there is a surprise around every corner. I am a literature teacher who uses works of art...More
