Emily Bay is one of my favourite bays in the world! swimming there and looking over at the Norfolk pines and the salthouses is a unique experience. My dad went to Norfolk Island and loved it. Just before he died, he was feeling so unwell...More

We went to Norfolk Island in October and the water was a bit too cold for me to venture in. I did see some brave souls however. A beautiful spot.

This is the main swimming area on the island and also has a lagoon, between 2 reefs, where it is possible to take a glass-bottomed-boat experience. The lagoon is every shade of blue/turquoise and is beautiful. The sea appears to be really shallow and perfect...More

Beautiful and protected bay - perfect swimming for all ages. Sandy beach and lots of shallow areas to play in as well as providing great snorkeling opportunities.

Emily Bay is a delight. Great for a picnic or a swim. We enjoyed our picnic while surrounded by history. Go to the top of the hill when you drive back to town for wonderful views of the whole convict area and Emily Bay..

A very pretty sandy beach. Make sure you go early in your stay and when the wind conditions are right, as an onshore heavy breeze, a common event, makes for cold conditions and a possible influx of bluebottles.

Emily Bay is extremely pretty with clear water and great sand. Due to the reef protection bluebottles are almost non existent. Thank you for your review.

Emily Bay is the pearl in Norfolk Islands oyster. The water is crystal clear although it was quite cold. situated at Kingston it is really only minutes from Burnt Pine, a word of warning the road is very rough and unpleasant with the many jolts...More

A very pretty spot that had quite a few people enjoying what looked like calm shallow waters. We were only interested in appreciating the lovely outlook.

Emily Bay waters are even more fun when you go swimming... although the view of the water can mesmerize us for hours!!

This beautiful little bay is a favourite of locals and visitors alike. Take your bathers and have a paddle when you visit Norfolk Island. Tables and toilets available so could spend the day here no problem.
