You definitely need 4 wheel drive to get to this beach because of the very deep pot holes. Once you do, it is so quiet and clean swimming. We saw seals and even a whale!

You have to travel a bit, but if you find it, it will be uncrowded. Not easy to bike to. Great long stretches of beaches. It is the ocean side so waves are bigger and more rip tides so be careful. Great for picnics, no...More

It was nice, but there wasn't anything unique about any of the facilities provided. Down Tom Nevers Road, just outside of Nantucket.

We rent a house a couple of blocks from Jetties (and love that part of the island) but we prefer the more secluded beach in Tom Nevers. We stumbled upon the beach last year while driving around the island and we were pleasantly surprised to...More

This is as close to a private beach that you'll find. Our rental is on a bluff looking out to the beach and ocean. Clean and natural with great seashells!

Very quiet and peaceful. The water was clean and the waves were small. No sea weed. Plenty of parking and just a short walk down to the beach.

This place has a delicious energy! Sometimes you can find sea lion pups on the beach or swimming. In the summer they do some events as some fairs.

This is one of the least favorite beaches to hang-out-except for the locals..Many night beach parties for drinking and bonfires...The beach is not always clean..It is in a sprawling neighborhood of cottages and modest houses. The waves are big and even.No great for children as...More

We love Tom Nevers beach. It is remote and pristine away from the crowds. The downside is there are no facilities, but if you a bring a lunch and some chairs you are in for a beautiful day at Tom Nevers!
