The Greater Light has an interesting history of two eccentric sisters who settled in Nantucket. The home has many unique features, from the fireplace to the windows. The iron gates and windows are just beautiful. The gardens are refreshing.

New to us, it is not a lighthouse. Two sisters fashioned a most un-Quaker-like house. If one needs a little break from 19th century austerity in your house tours, this is the place.

To sum it up two old spinsters that had weird tastes, when it came to art, left this house to the historical society. I think you need to be into art to appreciate this place

If you are an artist, this is a very stimulating place in terms of a variety of gates and windows to view. I personally enjoyed taking photos of these. Interesting history of the place as well.

This house was built from a barn by two sisters who settled in Nantucket. It has many unique features ranging from its fireplace to its decor. Our guide was pleasant and gave many interesting facts.

I love this house. Every time I visit I learn something new. This house was a farm that was bought by two eccentric sisters. It has interesting pieces and stories. The back yard is beautiful and open to the public.

This is much smaller than I expected. What there is to see inside and in the garden is very pretty. Included in admission to Whaling Museum, it makes sense to include this with the Fire Hose Cart House 1/2 block away.

Such a gorgeous building. Admission is included in the price of the ticket to the Whaling museum, so worth the trip. The gardens are amazing and I spent a lot of time outside taking pictures.
