What a treat: delicious food, beautiful candlelit atmosphere and live music (on Thursday nights.) The ambiance is great although it is mostly ex-pats. They even provide a shuttle service with a armed guard (to the park in the town center.) It is apparent that a...More

We really enjoyed taste-testing the different foods, homemade liquors and treats at Caoba. Definitely have some lunch, and go for a wander through the garden. There are plenty of farm animals to visit, and a collection of both locals and backpackers to interact with.

We visited on a Saturday when they had some local vendors selling their goods. It was fun to see all the unique goods that one can purchase. I snagged a couple of jars of mango marmalade. It is sooo yummy! Great place to pick up...More

Fun, garden setting with just plucked from the ground fresh veggies. My salad was epic and simply humungous and enough to feed 4 persons! My companions pizza was excellent and I am very picky about my pizza! Nice outdoor setting - a bit out of...More

Lovely place to visit for the day, you can see animals and beautiful crops, and there is a little artisan market there every Saturday. People from all over the world come here, definitely more of a traveler destination than somewhere many locals go. Live music,...More

Walked from town to this place. Walked around the edge of the various fields of organic produce. Had their homemade bread with cream cheese and jams (pineapple and mulberry). The bread was very tasty. It was a relaxing place.

We toured the farm before we had lunch here. Locally sourced very fresh food and it was delicious. Wait staff was very attentive.

Put simply, this is the best food I have ever eaten stateside, or abroad. The vegetables and produce are brought from the farm, to your plate. Everything is incredibly fresh, and the bread is simply to die for. I can not recommend this place highly...More

They have live music on Thursday evenings so it makes it a good time to go there, especially for an early dinner. That way you can enjoy the view and the animals. The food is good too, making it a trip worth taking.
