This is museum is located in a beautiful old building which is still in style. The collection is not world shocking but of a good quality. There are paintings of many interesting and sometimes well known painters throughout the ages and from different countries, categorised in separate rooms. Lovers of paintings should go here.

Don't have to much expectation of the collection but they do have a few nice pieces of art. Personally I liked their Eastern Collection, not very extensive but interesting pieces. The price should not withhold you of a visit.

There are some really great paintings of Saint Matthew & Luke in the museum. The facility could really use your support. It's easy to locate being not far from the city garden, and i highly recommend a visit!

This museum is one of my favourite in Odessa. Both exterior and interior are beautiful. Museum presents collection of Western and Eastern artists, and also organizes temporary exhibitions of modern painters, photographers and designers. Place not to be missed!

I was quite disappointed as I was expecting much more, there. They have nice samples of art but it's the western art, only. The Eastern part of exhibition is............ in restoration, or just closed!!!! The very old Ladies - watch women or so bored, that you can try to made some hidden photographs. It's OK but items looks very deteriorated.... More

A poor little neglected museum with masterpieces by names like Rubens and Frans Hals. Most of the older paintings are very dark and in dire need of restoration, so there is literally not much to see. Some modern work by local artists, yes, but one would appreciate some information on them. In English. Considering it only costs 25 grivna to... More

Being someone who lives in Singapore all his life, I looked forward to seeing this museum. It was a disappointment. I have expected there is some issues but I have never expect to see a total absent of Oriental Arts. Initially I thought it was my mistake, but upon examining all arts which have their origins listed, I came to... More

This is from the most inconsistent on the way items are places inside museums I have ever seen! From paintings around the world to supposedly "rare" rocks to modern photos one next to the other! Also the building is deteriorating and the stuff inside are some polite grannies with slippers ready to sleep!
