Marjan, the hill overlooks the city of Split has always been the most impressive part of Split imagery. Such a harmony betwwen natural and urban is rarely found; on one side the densely populated city in all of its glory and on the other a...More

From the harbour take the tourist train for 10€, It takes you up through Split and up to the National Park Marjan. Plenty of parking. Lovely views over Split and the coast. Can get very busy in the summer. Great for jogging through the pine...More

Enjoy pine trees and walking trough the woods and beging next to the See...My tip: go for a run! In the summer: go for the run and than jump Ingo the sea! The besteht you can have!

We seen the park by bus as part of a guided tour of Split. It was a beautiful day and a very nice park, close to town and offering many activities. Worth the time to see it if you have lots of free time in...More

Considering the thousands of tourists in Split, that few minutes away from the old town there is the entrance to this park-forest with many less people (apart from the viewpoints which are busy as well) is great. Views are really nice, especially from the viewpoints.

A place hidden from tourist mob by clever Splitians where they recline in the green. Go there if you are fed up with heat and crowds of fellow tourists and muzak in Split's Old Town. The views on Split Bay are splendid!

We had an afternoon walk/hike in the park. Very relaxing and offered fantastic views of the sea and the city. Recommend!

It's a great walk to do when needing to get out and clear your head. The views walking up are fantastic but the view looking back on Split when you get to the top is phenomenal. Well worth it!

We started from the Old Town where we had an apartment and followed the signs for the Marjan. The path takes you through a great pine forest and passes many lovely views of Split and the Adriatic coast. At one point you can choose to...More

Personally I think you should walk up the hill. A bike is not suitable as it goes up and up and up. Look at Google under marjan. For best views and incredible sunset go all the way up......

There isn't a bus or train service to the top. You have to be prepared to climb many steps from the end of the Riva. Takes about 40-50 minutes.. totally worth it. Uber is an option though.
