We enjoyed walking around Lokrum, with its quiet trails, peacocks, cliffs, and vistas. The boats come and go regularly from the harbor in the Old City, making it an easy excursion. A number of people had gone for the beaches, but we just wandered about.

Nice enough island, nice break from the Old Town. Not too much to do and the paths are not very easy to walk on (all rubble). Quite expensive to get to- 120 kuna return, equivalent to £15.

Really easy day trip from Dubrovnik old port; boats every 30 minutes after 10am (first boat at 9am). My two kids (aged 6 & 3) loved swimming in the salt lake and playing with the bunnies & peacocks. Beautiful place to visit.

There are two decent restaurants on the island. One just outside the museum and one about 100 yards further (near the massage/relaxation). We ate at the one next to the museum, had a lovely fresh pizza, wine and beer. Near... More
