Visited islands of lokrum and spent about 2 hours here. It was nice, lots of walking involved so good footwear is needed.

We booked our boat trip from the old town to Lokrum. It cost us 60 kuna each which was reasonable but were not told when you arrived on the island you had to pay another 120 kuna each to get into the reserve area. We...More

Reasonable cost for the boat trip and well worth the day trip beautiful island and stunning views from the top of the fort. Historic monastery site and plenty of things to see..... but the hill top walk is a lung buster lol

Stunning must see, unfortunately it's becoming very commercialised. Also everything seems to be a great deal more expensive this year?? I'm told something to do with the greedy mayor raising prices? Island is full of peacocks and rabbits, and the dead sea in the middle...More

We went because we saw it advertised in Dubrovnik old town. It’s about £35 for two people and this includes the return boat trip. I can’t knock the natural beauty of the island but I’m not going to be telling all my friends that they...More

We caught the ferry to Lokrum during our stay in Dubrovnik and it was by far our best day. We followed a map to cover almost all points of interest during the day there. I would recommend swimming in the dead sea and if you...More

Lovely little island just 15 min away by boat from the Old city harbour. Great places to go for a swim or just relax among the trees while peacocks and rabbits wonder around you.

The ferry to Lokrum is 150Kn and it runs to Lokrum from 10am-5pm, on the hour. Don't miss the last ferry back (at 6pm) because there's nowhere to stay on the island. There are two restaurants there, which are a little more expensive than you...More

Scenic, interesting place if you like walking and views. History fans will also find something of interest linked to Game of Thrones. Wish I had taken swimwear to experience swimming in the "Dead Sea".

The price is 150kuna for the return boat trip (10 minutes each way) but another 120 if you go into the museum. Stick to the main walking paths, which are quite good, but take care if you go onto the subsidiaries which can be... More

the cruise ship to lokrum probably doesn't operate in November. I've been to Dubrovnik in October and the weather can be very stormy so it's highly likely they won't operate in that kind of weather. You may however find... More
