The gorgeous Old Town in Dubrovnik is just spectacular! The walls are something very special and the marble floors in Old Town are also very special. Lots of gift shops and family owned restaurants. We will be back 100%

This place is reminiscent of a fairy tale step back in time. See it with a local guide. You won't be disappointed.

If you like to see and experience the history of the city then Dubrovnik is the place to go. If you want to experience it from up top, then you can take the cable car.

Full of tourists but still a wonderful city to visit. A unique and condensed experience with friendly habitants.

Great for a mooch and spot of shopping. Take time to explore off the main streets little bars and restaurants appear. Living history. Main streets get super busy though.

Would recommend walking the walls but start early to avoid the crowds. They open from 8am. Wander round the old town and take a boat trip to Lokrum. Get the first boat out at around 9am and you will virtually have the island... More

its a tricky choice as both have good points, though cheaper to stay just out of the old town. However, Dubrovnik old town is so busy with tourist groups from Cruise Liners, it can be daunting, and best to visit early... More
