We invite curious visitors of Istria, the green Mediterranean, to join our Cooking Classes and Wine Tours and learn how we eat, drink and live on the largest Adriatic peninsula. Fresh, local and simple for more taste and less fuss. Let all your senses enjoy the magic of Istrian cuisine. All our tours are private experiences and tailored for individuals and small groups. (1-6 guests). What is included: transfer from anywhere in Pula area, all the ingredients that we source on local green and fish market, the lesson followed by a meal that you cooked, a bottle of wine for two persons, water and some authentic sightseeing… Experience Istrian wines on the spot, talking to them, not listening to boring talks about them. If you are a wine enthusiast eager to meet in person Istrian winemakers and taste their Istrian Malvasia, Teran and Istrian Borgonja, grape varieties indigenous to Istria, take one of our wine tours - Central, Western or South Istrian

We’ve visited plenty of wineries in the U.S., but when faced with the prospect of deciphering Istrian grapes we’d never heard of before (and even finding the wineries) we knew it was time to call in the professionals. That’s exactly what we got with our guide Nikola. He zipped us around to three great wineries where we got to sit... More

Having thoroughly loved the wine tour last year with Goran, we decided to treat ourselves to this amazing experience again. This time we decided to take in the truffle hunting also, and what an experience it was. The initial journey took us about forty five minutes through the beautiful and breathtaking mountain scenery of Istria. Our tour guide Petar was... More

What a fabulous day in Istria! This was definitely the highlight of our trip. As huge truffle fanatics we had a blast at the Karlič Truffle Farm. We enjoyed a delicious brunch and then got to truffle hunt with the dogs. What an experience! From there we went to two different wineries. We enjoyed sensational wine at each place. It... More

I don't normally write reviews regarding tours after traveling. However, I feel compelled to do so for Goran because the experience with EatIstria was among the most memorable and unique I have ever had. We booked the South Istrian wine tour for two and mentioned to Goran that we wanted to complement it with some olive oil tasting. He was... More

I booked this as a surprise for my partners birthday and what a great present it was (not just for her, but me also!). We went for the truffle hunting and wine tours. It really was a great day out. Started by getting picked up by Nikola who was a wonderful guide, he provided a great deal of information about... More

I emailed Goran a month before the tour to check availability and understand a bit more about the tours. Goran sent excellent recommendations on hotels to stay in for the Central Istria wine tour, one of which we booked. I then paid the 25% deposit for the tour. On the day Goran picked us up from our hotel and took... More

My husband I communicated with Goran a few months ago via email to pre-book a tour during our stay in Pula. With Goran's very helpful and informative information, we choose to do the Truffles and Wine of Lake Butoniga. The day of the tour, Peter picked us up near our apartment and off we went. Peter is very friendly, and... More

We booked our EatIstria tour with Goran several months ago and opted for his newer wine and truffles tour. This tour was amazing! Petar picked us up at our apartment in Rovinj and took us to our first wine stop at Makino just down the road - a bio/eco winery - where we got an excellent education on winemaking based... More

Goran took us on the Rich Reds wine tour which was absolutely delightful. We visited three very local wineries in a beautiful village and ate dinner at a delicious pasta restaurant. Goran was very knowledgable about the wine we tasted. The whole thing was quite an intimate experience and we drank A LOT of wine... wish there was a few... More

We had the best day with Goran in Istria! He planned such a fantastic day, and we wouldn't have changed a thing. Goran took us to three different wineries, all very different and distinct, but not too far apart. We had some AMAZING wine, cheese, and to top it all off, our favorite seafood pasta that we've ever had in... More
