Nice place to people watch, with the Opera at the end, watching old men playing chess, backgammon or cards. Challenging the daring. families, have some coffee, tea, sit and read, you can do it all.

The street you use to get basically anywhere you want in the city center. It leads you straight to the Opera House with the fountain in front of it. Also during the festivals and celebrations a big fair is located on this street.

Very old part of the Lviv, before II World War it had a name: Waly Hetmanskie. It was built up the river on the place where city walls were located.
