The fjord-like Bay of Kotor is a beautiful location for the town of Kotor and a few other small villages nestled at the foot of the mountains surrounding the greenish-blue waters of the bay. A climb up to the fort above Kotor will give you some splendid views out over the bay and mountains nad is well worth the climb.... More

It is the southest ”fiord” of Europe and of the most pitoresque area of Eastern Adriadic Coast. I love this bay and I can not wait to get back here!

Kotor is well worth a day or two if you are touring Montenegro. If you are on a boat which docks here then you can do most of the town in a few hours. My best tip is to eat outside the old town walls as restaurants in the old town are double the price of outside and and probablt... More

The views from our cruise ship as well as from our excursion through the Montenegrin hills surrounding it were amazing. The surprising highlight of our ten-day Oceania cruise. Kotor is a must see on the Adriatic.

One of the great places I have been anywhere in the world. The bay of Kotor is a UNESCO site and a worthy one for its sheer beauty and originality

The bay of Kotor is absolutely gorgeous, and has plenty to keep travellers amused. From scaling the heights of the surrounding mountains (there are stairs) to visiting the old walled city, touring the beautiful bay or simply dining on the waterside in one of the most stunning locations in Europe. We chose a tour by water but rather than go... More

We stopped here as part of a cruise. It is beautiful and picturesque. After having a stroll around the town. It has many cafes and shops and you can walk around the city walls to get views of the bay. But, you get the best views from the water. We took a speed boat to a town called perast, it... More

We spent just over three weeks in Sept. on the bay, in Dobrota and Muo. Up to five cruise ships come into the farthest inland port in Kotor daily, in season. We were able to swim throughout our stay which was super. The water is almost always still in the mornings becoming choppier as the day progresses. In a storm... More

We sailed through the Bay of Kotor on our way to Kotor itself. The scenery was just breathtaking, sailing in to Kotor is one of the most beautiful ones to experience. It is also known as the most southern fjord of Europe.
