Me my husband and group of friends went shopping whilst on hols....it is really good...you will find souvenirs...shoe shops...clothes shops....jewlery shops....traditional shops...food....and more. All the shops you can bargain when buying. Got some really good bargains on clothes and gifts. Well worth the visit.

Must visit although you might find a lot of closed shops these days but enjoy the product presented & the handling with the sales persons

It's big and great medina, walls are high. Fantastic place, special atmosphere, nice architecture. We saw very big choice of food, clothes, bags etc. It was nice to taste sweets, traditional food, buy souvenirs. I think it has everything.

I enjoyed my visit there :) The shop assistants can be really irritating, but you will get used to it. You can buy really cheap things in here and it is interresting experience. But you have tu haggle over everything.

Cool structure. As for what's inside, it's a souk. Deals to be had, but you have to fight hard for them. Tunisians are skilled negotiators and will not give in easily. All part of the experience. Didn't feel that the salespeople were too pushy, although...More
