I visited this little pagoda because my guide recommended it. It is from the 13th century and contains interstate Buddha statues. Many locals visited this place for their prayers. It is an quite oasis in the middle of this noisy city.

This place is interesting but not outstanding place to visit. But if you have time, you should stop here and for example study the sponsorship plates showing that people from all around the world would like to see this place preserved.

Seeing all the 32 Buddhas lined up is quite pretty and the site is also notable for being a sanctuary during WWII bombings. Be careful when walking on the tiles as they are extremely slippery when wet. There's quite a nice view from the top...More

This temple is not on the "tourist path" and one is really alone with locals practising meditation here. There are several buildings all filled with beautiful Buddha images, but it is a great place for a quiet time or meditation.

Beautiful pagoda with a very long, curved row of beautiful Buddhas. Rather modern complex, nice view. Well worth a visit.

Situated high on a hill overlooking Mandalay. this Pagoda has an impressive series of Buddhas depicting Buddha's life from "enlightenment" till death. Well worth seeing.
