The nature park us quaint & peaceful. There’s lovely walks, caves a bee exhibit, beautiful gardens & natural gentle waterfalls throughout the area. I enjoyed my first zip line experience. Amazing with 2 very professional & caring guides. I also made homemade mulberry bark paper sprinkled with fresh flower pedals. My instructor was super cool & helped me with some basic Lao phrases. I spent the whole day there & had a wonderful time. Yes as mentioned in other reviews the road getting there is unpaved, dusty & bumpy. It’s not the parks fault, it’s just the way it is. Just take it slow & steady & you will surely be rewarded with this quaint exceptional nature park.

I did not expect the park to be so much fun. The zipline was awesome and well priced. Had a dip in the river, had lunch then left feeling very happy :)

There isn't much to do for a couple without children - this place is better for family with children. Bad access road - gravel, a lot of dust, huge holes on the way. I don't recommend taking bicycles to get there - we used a motorbike.

Dear Anna G Thank you for your review. You'll be happy to know that the dirt road in being fixed now. Access is a lot easier than before (though still dusty in dry season).

The food here and the zipline is unreal. I loved the bbq sets and also a great price of only 15 usd to experience a zipline as compared to many places in sea where they charge up to 100 usd. Highly recommended

I hired a scooter from the Capital Hotel for Nicky and I and Oliver Farrington led the way .
Really . Really nice place to be .
We walked and photographed for a couple of hours and then rode back to Luampa Bang. With an ice cream stop .
Good day out .

An awesome little spot outside of Luang Prabang, a bumpy entrance road, well worth it for the ziplining, don't be afraid to skip the steep trek down to the cave it is at best an overhang!

This is a nice spot but apart from the zip line and walk it is only big enough for about an hour walk. The cafe is good.

We caught a tuktuk one morning out to this park - slightly bumpy dirt road but the kids found that a great adventure. We were two families and four kids aged 8 - 10. Be forewarned - they only take cash on entry, so come prepared. Also if you want to do a cooking class they need a day's notice (we didn't know this). We absolutely loved this park. Most of us did the forest walk (which I found terrifying although the kids didn't) and the incredible ziplining high up through the forest canopy. One of our party is a climber and they thought the equipment was all good quality - certainly we were micromanaged at a safety level in terms of clipping and unclipping the bits and pieces and guides at each end of the line. There's about 800m of ziplining and it was so amazing I'll never zipline again. We then all made mulberry paper bark, which we all enjoyed (you get to take the paper home). I should mention that for a while we seemed to be the only people in the entire park, although we spotted a few others later in the day. We had a delicious traditional Luang Prabang feast under the massive old trees, then spent a few hours swimming in the waterfall (well the kids did, by this time the adults were happy to kick back and chat). We'd highly recommend this park. We found it on TripAdvisor and did not see an office or it advertised in Luang Prabang. We thought it reasonably priced.

We visited Nahm Dong Park while staying at the nearby Hillside Nature Lodge. We purchased a multi-pass and chose to do the zipline, mulberry paper and Hmong embroidery activities. As first time zipliners, we had a great time whizzing through the forest and enjoying the view from above. The guides were wonderful in ensuring our safety and well-being and the equipment provided was sturdy and well-maintained. Mulberry paper making was brief yet relaxing as we designed our own paper while enjoying the stunning views of the village in the valley below. Hmong embroidery was lovely with 2 local ladies who gently guided us as we completed a pattern using a cross-stitch method. Food at Nahm Dong was also fantastic, with the restaurant set beside the water. The park is well-kept and the surroundings are just beautiful. We only wish we had more time to explore the villages within the park as well. Definitely recommend checking out Nahm Dong Park if you are keen on outdoor activities in Luang Prabang.
