Lovely small temple with a large standing Buddha. The boat and a carriages were lovely to see. There were a few young monks sitting in the grounds and they would practice their Enlkish with you. A very peaceful visit worth stopping.

Wat Sensoukaram was one of a nice row of temples along one of the main roads, opposite coffee shops, so lovely to look at whilst relaxing, if feeling a bit hot from too much walking around. This Wat has a large standing Buddha image in an outside building, which was good as the main ubosot was closed when I visited.... More

Small and beautiful, loved the carvings and of course the Buddha. Unusually the monks approached us to speak English which made this experience much better than visiting the other temples. One of the younger monks had the best English and once he had finished asking about us he to,d us about his life. Fascinating and informative.

One of many temples in the street, one can become weary of viewing them all, however, this one did not charge entrance mearly requested a donation towards upkeep. There is an impressive buddah housed within the structure to the right as you enter the compound. Worth having a look in as you pass by.

I also visited this temple at noon time. It was gorgeous to see the reflection of sunlight on the golden patterns. OW! Amazing!

This place is breathtaking, and the novice monks are incredibly friendly. They will approach you to practice their English. I highly recommend visiting mid-morning (around 10:00).

If you walk East To West on this road you will find most of the Temples in Luang Prabang on either side. A great find among more great finds.
