Gives a good overview of what happen to Laos during the war and the extensive damage environmentally and the impact on social life. Tremendous effort and educational programs to help reduce fatality due to ignorance.

We visited here on suggestion from our guide. The kids were fascinated and it was a real eye opener for us and them. Really interesting and good for the children to understand about the on going effects of war. Well worth a visit.

Given how much damage the west (and the US in particular) has inflicted on this part of the world, it seems unconscionable to travel to Laos without learning more about what we've done.
