This palace has been restored to its former glory as the Pashas palace and the parquetray floors and ceilings are brilliant. Unfortunately there are no photos allowed here. The mens section of the palace is still to be restored but the original splendour can still be seen through the locked glass doors. Once complete this will be a major attraction... More

In the small and lovely strip of old Hama unscathed by the military operations in the 1980s, this elegant house should not be missed.

This palace was built by the same ruler (Azem) who built the other Azem palace in Damascus, hence the same name for 2 different palaces in different cities. The palace is 10 years older than its Damascus palace brother (built 1740), by Hamah governor before he moved to Damascus to become its governor. it is located in a wonderfull part... More
