It's the most important historic site in Tripoli. the view from there is great and you can see all of Tripoli and the sea from there. But unfortunately it's not well maintained.

a one of a kind citadel that takes you back in time to the ancient history of the city, where conquerors fought over a land that was considered a treasure by itself... a must see site ....

Intersting building, has surely seen better days. Access is easy, and the view from the top on old town quite interesting.
