Al Karama is one of the oldest street malls of Dubai, the market sells all kinds of gift items, like t shirts and jeans, shoes and ladies handbags. The timing is 10 am to 10:30 pm and on Fridays 3 pm to 10:30 pm. The market used to be closed for lunch time but now it's changed to straight.

karama aint what it used to be. terribly overpriced for clear fake items and they are not prepared to budge on the price. i paid less for a genuine bag from dubai mall on sale than what a shop at karma tried to sell it to me for...the exact same item and it was fake!!!

This is my 7:th trip to Dubai, but the first in nine years. Karama is not what it used to be. Used to be a happy place where you could buy fake clothing, bags and watches. Now it just crap and has no visitors. Shops are closing down. Not worth a visit anymore...

There was absolutely nothing cheap about the items for sale. Bags were ridiculously overpriced and when asked why, they kept saying it's branded... but it's fake branded duh ! I'll pass .

Research what kind of items you want before you go and get a good idea on quality and think of a price you'd be happy to pay. From stepping out the taxi we were approached by men asking if we wanted designer handbags, think they had a better knowledge of designers than me, just a no will do and they... More

Firstly, when leaving your hotel by taxi take the meter charge, they will offer you an alternative price but we found the return travel cheaper using the meter. Arrived at 10.30am, quiet so very much 'in your face' however a polite no thank you works well. Eventually went to a little shop after being talked to by a nice guy... More

ADCB metro station on the Red line, five hundred meters and you are there in the fake world. The sellers are yeling on you, offering "brand" watches, do not buy them for any price, after three days it's a garbage. They are offering copies of polo shirts, jeans and Lady bags. It is not so cheap.

We took a taxi with friends to karama market, as our daughter had visited before. We were taken into the loft space of a shop and shown watches and handbags,l brought a mulberry bag for my wife, and a Rolex Daytona watch for my son, the bag was good quality and after a month of daily use is still like... I was just here today at 12 noon and it was ridiculous. I was walking around and enquired about any men's wallets they had (stated brands such as prada, goyard etc). They either referred me to another store, or plainly said no, looking at me all suspicious. I have money to spend and I'd rather take it elsewhere. The stores... More

We visited early evening with our two young children, if your the type of shopper that doesn't want to be hassled then this isn't for you, but if you like to barter then this is ideal, these shops all have "Secret shops" where they sell "Genuine Fake" clothes, watches, bags etc.. we found it quite expensive because of the weakening...
