Travelled in Dubai Metro in Jan 2017 for the first time. Was impressed with the completely automated metro without any driver. Neat and Clean Only drawback very crowded. People push and getting in is difficult during Peak hours. There is separate Ladies compartment for the Ladies. If you are doing day hopping all the attractions would recommend taking the DAY... A state of the art mode of transport - silent, clean and punctual. Panoramic view of Dubai whilst travelling to an efficient and prompt timetable. Smooth journey, suitable for wheelchairs and prams.

Another great addition to the ever growing city of Dubai. The cheapest, most effective system I have ever used-but what would you expect from the city that is Dubai! Buy a silver card for ease of passage if you are staying and using the system for more than one day. Costs 25Dhs, 19 of which is available to use for... More

You are able to travel all over Dubai using the Metro. It is fast, convenient and inexpensive. First class ticket may not be necessary as during rush hours you can hardly find seats.

Sometime a bit overated when riding in a busy hour, typical mass transport in avery cities. They have couple class for the cabin and ticket card. Affordable and easy.

We werw staying in the Dubai Marina and decided to go to the Old Town. Taking the metro didn't seem to be the best alternative, given the distance, but it turned out to be a great experience. Very modern infraestructure, offering good views to the different passing buildings. But also the metro itself is an interesting construction.

In Dubai, we do not have any problems with transportation especially if you stay near the metros. NOL card can be used in all public transportation, that is, Dubai Metro , Dubai tram, Dubai RTA buses and RTA ferry boats. The Dubai metro has green and red lines. The green line network runs from Etisalat to Creek and vice versa.... More

Good way of travelling. If you planning to go to dubai mall via metro, you gona need to walk like 20min from the station to the mall. You are already tired when you reach the mall.

We used this to move around Dubai. The stations and the train are world-class. There are two line with two interconnecting stations that allow you to travel most of Dubai. It's well connected to the tram system and the monorail (expensive) to Palm Jumeirah and Atlantis.
