This was a nice quick trip. About 45- 1 hour. Which is perfect when time is limited. The views were nice. The boat wasn't full. Bean bags comfy. Very cheap too.

Lovely trip on a great boat thexweather helped & we were able to see the sites from the coastline. It was very reasonable & included a choice of soft drinks & a packet of crisps. The boat is quirky with bean bags & colourful cushions. As it was Christmas the boat was decorated with tinsel & baubles!! Afterwards we walked... More

After many attempts to get hold of someone on the phone we finally managed to get a confirmed telephone booking for the group sunset catamaran trip. However when we called to check the location we were told that they did not have our booking!! Disappointing as it was the last opportunity for our visitors. After many frustrating attempts to speak... More

We had a 70 minutes boat trip, 100AED. Great value, we are very satisfied. No reason to pay 280 AED for yellow boat trip.

This 45-minute boat ride was quite nice for our little children to enjoy, though I can’t say it was anything too special. The staff were distinctly lacking the friendly service that we found virtually everywhere else in Dubai – they weren’t unpleasant, just not bothered – and there was absolutely nothing on the boat ride itself to distinguish it, like... A nice little family excursion one evening while staying in Dubai. We were all given life jackets but the children's jackets were ill- fitting and kind of pointless. The staff were friendly and the dhow cruise went through a great scenic route.

Captain Jack Bristol's is one of the best companies offering a short Dhow cruise in the Dubai creek starting from the Dubai Marina. Costs you 60AED per person for a 1 hour cruise. No frills. You get a comfortable bench to sit on or a bean bag to lounge in and a can of soda (soft drink) enroute. A traditional... More

This is a very unorganized tour, poor for Dubai standards. We were lucky enough to get on first and got upfront on the netted looking area (sorry don't know official name of this) There was 6 in our group and when the last couple arrived they were told that area was full! Only 8 on each side! The member of... More

Staying in The Marina

Neighbourhood Profile
The Marina
It’s hard to believe that only a decade ago there was no marina. Opened in 2003, the man-made marina runs along a 3km stretch of shoreline. A heady mix of luxurious hotels, apartment buildings, and cafes, the marina hosts regular community events and markets, and is a wonderful place to while away an afternoon or evening. Spectacular at night when the skyscrapers glisten, here you can enjoy dinner on the beach next to the sea, or visit a high-rise bar in a hotel for a magnificent view across the Gulf and the man-made Palm Island, with the world-famous Atlantis Hotel at its end. The Walk at Jumeirah beach Residences is a pedestrianized stretch leading to a new development: The Beach. It’s one of the few places where Gulf nationals mix with tourists and Western ex-pats. It’s a popular place to show off your supercar for an evening, so watch out for Lamborghinis, Maseratis, and Ferraris in abundance.
