Enjoy a lazy afternoon in the marine city, with the quite view and atmosphere. Once the dust fall, it turn out to be the coolest spot in the Dubai.

Great to drive around, great to see from the water and great to see from the air. All 3 give interesting and differing perspectives.

The best man made island with the most costly villas build. If you really want to live there then you might have to shell a good amount of cash over. Its well planned and all of the villas have access to the sea.

From the ground or from the bus you can’t see much or get a real view of this man-made wonder. A view from the sky is recommended. I enjoyed the architecture of the buildings. Also the variety of food from local restaurants was very attractive.

There is no such option to the best of my knowledge. If you are looking for a good option with beach settings, try the main Dubai beach with a hotel overlooking it.

Hi. As I could see from the internet, besides the monorail, there are no means of transport on the Palm other than your own car and/or tour bus. Plan is to spend an afternoon there: walk around the place (not atlantis) and eat at some restaurant but afraid that taxi availability is very low. A lot of walking is not an option as mother will be with me. Am I correct? Thanks for thoughts!

You are quite correct in your observations. Taxi would be too expensive to go and come back keeping in view that you would spend a few hours there also. Best option indeed is to travel via monorail. Spend a few hrs, dining... More
