The mall, the look, the building, everything is very impressive till you get up there to realize you either can't see that much because of sand in air or there is not much really to see. A building like that would have been great somewhere in Europe where you could enjoy the view from up there.

Well organised, no cues, no need for fast track ticket, chose prime time sunset - but too be honest all we got was glare - so if i do it again - would probably choose morning visit

Great View at Burj Khalifa! It is worth making the tour inside the building. At the top, you will be able to see breathtaking 360 view of the whole city. The best time to go up is at 11 am when the sun shines over the city.

We booked the ticket online as combo (Burj Khalifa Normal ticket entry + Dubai Mall Aquarium). It was worth each and every penny. The view was amazing. We went at around 12 pm, no queue and not so much people so we could take as many pictures we wanted without being pushed by other visitors. Amazing!

We went on a trip to Burj during day (11 am)- you can choose if you like to see it at night or during the day. It is really an experience worth paying for! You can see whole city from on of two terraces (we did 124/125 floor trip), skyscrapers, artificial islands, desert... wow, that was something! It is good... More

The views are amazing, but I felt sorry for the people that had to wait in line to go up and then again to go down. I had a fast pass and it was the best thing going... I wouldn't have handled being trapped in line waiting for an elevator to take me down very well (people were waiting half... More

The Burj Khalifa is an architectural marvel and truly magnificent to behold. Get tickets for the top and enter through the Dubai Mall. Everything is luxurious and beautiful. Amazing view from the top.

Staying in Downtown Dubai

Neighbourhood Profile
Downtown Dubai
You can’t fail to miss Dubai’s iconic Burj Khalifa, the world’s tallest building. It towers over the city and resides in the prestigious Downtown development. Once an old army base, Downtown is now the jewel in Dubai’s crown, a beautiful residential and leisure area housing not only the world’s tallest building, but the world’s largest fountains and mall. Wide marble sidewalks are perfect for strolling, with restaurants, art galleries and children’s play areas. Specially commissioned sculptures line the roads and Downtown is often used as a canvas for modern art displays and community events such as Classic Car Shows and National Day parades. In the cooler months, cross one of the many bridges to the Burj Khalifa park and enjoy a picnic alongside residents and visitors, or enjoy a lunch or dinner watch the dancing fountains. Because of its mixed use, Downtown is a fantastic place to mix with Dubai residents and locals and watch real life unfold in a cosmopolitan environment.
