While the Dubai Mall and Mall of Emirates get more visitors and attention, I always found Ibn Battuta excellent especially if yout main focus of going to the mall is shopping. It is very beautiful and large, with many shops, cafes, and restaurants. It also has the first IMAX screen in Dubai which was the only one for many years... More

It is a different mall with theme of several countries like India, Morocco, China etc..and has interiors done accordingly. It is well spread out and beautifully decorated. Scores of shops, cafes and you can spend whole day enjoying the vastness of this mall, shopping and having great food.

Ibn Battuta was an extra ordinary adventurer. IBN Battuta Mall was inspired by his various travel experience and design of the mall is based on the same - China court, India court, Persia Court, Egypt Court, Tunisia Court, Andalusia Court etc. Ibn Battuta Mall is one of the most relaxing malls in Dubai close to Jebel Ali and Discovery Gardes... While not as big as the other malls in Dubai, I think it has a much better feel. If you are staying near Jebel Ali, or don't mind the train ride, then I believe this is a worthwhile shopping trip to make. Prices are on par with most malls in the US, and the food court has most familiar US... More

While it's not a big mall, it has a nice theme with different sections decorated after the countries visited by the Moroccan traveler and scholar Ibn Batuta. They have a brands for less shop where you can find good bargains if you are patient ;) Their food court offers a variety of cuisines, I personally liked the Chinese food outlets.

This mall is pretty inside, but just has average shops. I went on a Thursday evening. Parking was nearly impossible to find. The food court wasn't very large. The mall was packed with people and very noisy. I would rather go to the Mall of the Emirates or the Dubai Mall, where they have more food options and parking.
