Avenida Peru connect the beaches Playa Estero and Playa Acapulco. It has high rise buildings on one side and the Pacific ocean on the other. If you wish to take a stroll on the promenade, be prepared to encounter musicians of varying talent busking for tips. Vendors stalls sell all sorts of things, like homemade food, local sweets, souvenirs and... More

I have visited vina Del Mar 3 years. I personally enjoyed my trips in October, March and April more than in February. The whole country seems to take their vacations in February. If you wish to have a lot of activity with the international music festival, many tourists on the beaches, bars and restaurants, January and February are for you.... More

A very nice walk to do, which you can continue going north along the coast for hours...most of it has been recently renewed, though storms have ruined it partially with waves hitting stores and side walk...

Beautiful walk. Once you hit the bridge, cross it and go left. The boardwalk area is amazing. Parking is available for a fee.

Arlegui esq. Pte. Mercado is the place where you have to go for the best ceviche in Viña del Mar, also, is cheaper than in Av. Peru!!

We walked around the area for an hour or so and enjoyed the views all around. The sunset was pretty and there are also a few horse carriages around. Worth the walk and wished there were more cafes and restaurants.

This is a favourite stroll for visitors to Vina del Mar as it borders the ocean and is beside the Casino and close to many eating establishments. It gives the impression of being the place to see and be seen in days gone by but has been superceded by newer coastal walks further to the north. As a consequence the... More

Nothing spectacular but a nice walk, close to the rocks and the ocean breaking in and splashing, if you are in Viña is worth spending a relaxing time strolling this aveneu.
