This is a genuinely superb museum on the campus of the University of Michigan. While it regularly hosts exhibitions, reason enough to go is the permanent 20th century collection, spanning several rooms. Admission is free, with a $10 suggested donation.

The museum is pretty big and it is free. It is within walking distance from parking. You are allowed to take pictures but no flash.

No, sorry. The museum uses Mondays, as most do, to clean the galleries and shift art.
