State Street has a bit of everything, filled with local culture ... restaurants galore with seasonal outdoor dining, student union, book stores, pharmacies, movie theatres, art museums, ice cream parlors, clothing shoppes, coffee houses ... a busy upbeat spirited strip for students & families, of course, perfect for colorful people & dog watching😊

This is what you expect in a college town. Theater, bookstores, coffee shops, second hand places, etc.

State Street is lively, bustling, busy busy busy! If you enjoy shopping, there is plenty of that and some very unique shops to see. If you're a foodie, there are several local restaurants, but also some chain. Fun place to waste some time!

Am not a college student, but if I were that age again, this would be a terrific spot to hang out. Lots of activity, especially on football Saturday.

Used to love State Street and still a very cool place to walk. Went to Noodles for lunch, Stucchi's for ice cream and walked through the Nickel's Arcade. Purchased early Christmas gifts at the Caravan Gift Shop! Enjoyed it just as much as when I was a student here!

It has past for this year but one should start planning for next years event. You don't have to worry about parking, it is every where. The more you pay to park, the shorter the walk to the fair. The fair isn't just on State Street, it is all over Ann Arbor and worth the walk to see everything. And... More

Great area to walk, variety of stores and shops in a college town to explore. Nice little cafes and eateries to enjoy.
