There are very few good archaeology museums in the US, and this is one of them! The museum has been very innovative with technology and reconstructions, like that of the room of the mysteries and the Roman Baths. Definitely worth a visit in Ann Arbor

A two-star review by a Quintin K from Georgia called the Kelsey Museum a “low point of UM’s Museum Collection,” but his review was entirely unfair to the museum. His first complaint is of a “hostile docent,” something I’ve never experienced in the times I’ve...More

It is a big museum. Admission is free and you are allowed to take pictures but no flash. It is worth visiting.

If you have interest in ancient history, this museum is fantastic - if you don't, then this museum will change that! Egyptian and Roman artifacts and items are particularly impressive but there is a lot more to see. Well worth a stop!

This is a very small museum, but the artifacts are interesting and impressive. Glad I stopped in. The exterior of the building is quite interesting as well.
