Nice hike but you have to find the route for just hiking, few bikes, and no horses. Some water features to see and shade in the trail.

it says 3:00 p.m. we got there a bit before, say 2:15 and got in. I think as long as the site is open they will let you get set up.

I don't think they patrol if that is what you are asking. We did see empty beer cans at the can donation trailer that is there so people do not abide by the rule.
