Though not as showy as a place like Yosemite or even Death Valley, Ash Meadows merits four stars, because it is a unique ecosystem to experience and the information provided at the visitor center is top-notch. The beautiful, brilliant blue springs and tall grasses almost...More

We visited here on a motorcycle trip to death Valley. Even though we’ve been to the national Park many times and we were actually unaware of this place. It’s a bit into Nevada but easy to get to. Don’t miss it.

Exceptional visitor center, well maintained landscape and wildlife. The most beautiful turquoise water in the lake(s) one does not expect in the middle of the desert. Go and visit the Pup Fish!

Staff were very helpful. We wanted to do some biking and they gave suggestions both at Ash Meadows and in the area. Neat "boiling" spring at an old homestead and unusual rock formation. Several springs with indigenous Pupfish, most of which you won't be able...More

We had some time to kill, so we visited. It was very nice and very informative. We walked on the boardwalk, saw some pup fish, and looked at the exhibits.
