Muabi is a great guide. He showed us Lions. He has an eye of a Hawk. Not giving 5 stars because: 1) When it was booked in Victoria Falls with a local shop (guy named: Vusa) it was told that we would sleep in beds, in challets, with fences and guards to protects us from any surprise from the wild... We were in Kenya for the late May half term to do some work for a small NGO (checking up on sponsored children) and had just over 24 hours at the end for some holiday. I was able to organise a small minivan with pop up roof for a very good rate with a driver (I organised our accommodation separately.)... More

Maobi picked us up from the airport on our arrival. He is a very nice man who will go out of his way to please you and make you happy. We did the Chobe River Cruise and the day trip to the Vic falls in Zimbabwe. Both incredible experiences.

Although the first safari car was old and broke down after a few hours in the park, they arranged quickly for a replacement car. We were alone in the camping spot in the middle of the wild nature. And the camping equipment was comfortable with a "jungle" shower and toilet. Our guides were not only very kind but also very... More

We booked two private boat tours of Chobe NP and Impalila Island and both were handled with great professionalism. The booking person was so helpful and the guides were great --we were photographing birds and they were well trained in bird identification as well as how to spot them and drive the boat for photographers. You can hire their private... More

Me and my buddy heard about this safari company through someone we met in Livingstone, Zambia. So we decided to head down there. We found the office and booked two gamedrives, morning and afternoon, for a very decent price. Safaris are very dependent on the Gameguides, and Moabi delivers, he's super friendly, knows a lot about everything, not just the... More

We went to the office of steenbok in Kasane (Botswana) and booked our safaris there for Chobe. Easy as it can be. Moabi (the old man as he was called by his colleagues and is also the owner) was just awesome. Great guy with a vast knowledge of the park. And a good set of humor which for me is... More

We were met by the owner at Chobe safari lodge at 0800 in the morning and he drove us to the border. Crossing was fast and smooth (app. 20 min). Then the Zimbabwean guy met us with nice air coned Toyota and start to drive us towards Vic Falls town. The car broke down after 10 min driving. He called... More

We visited Botswana in December 2014. Moabi and Steenbok Safaris was just supposed to pick us up at the border and drop us at our lodge. What quickly became apparent was that our travel plans (set by another agency) were all confused: our lodging was unknown, our safari plan jumbled, etc. Moabi went out of his way and over the... We wanted to spend a full day on the river to do bird and wildlife photography as well as find soem specific bird species as part of a birdwatching exercise. Most trips offered are for 3 hours in the morning and another three hours in the evening, so we were referred to Steenbok Safari's by Gerard Meygaarden. The cost of... More
