Our group of 6 took part in the lunchtime cooking class - we booked in advanced easily by popping in to the restaurant the night before. I've been to several cooking classes in Siem Reap, and this one was hit and miss in comparison. I appreciated the fact that not all members of the group would have to cook the... More

We were really disappointed with the class. Maybe because the reviews very so good and we were expecting something exceptional. I felt that the whole experience was rushed through and actually I didn't really learn anything. I was hoping that the teacher would go through the spices and make it more interactive, but it was rather along the lines "cut... More

Started by selecting dishes and 2 different members of staff gave different options so when I selected was initially told no but then relented. No introductions or group chat and we were off to the market. Rattled through in under 20 minutes with virtually no information or discussion. Back upstairs to get started and it gets a bit unfocused as... More

Booked half day in advance. We were first to arrive, and teacher suggested we wait for other 4 people. After 10 mins we went to the market with just 2 of us:) Didn't buy anything, but asked questions about different veggies and fruits. After coming back found 2 more girls waiting. Class was great: just 4 of us in result.... More

This cooking class was great value for money at approximately $15-$20 AUD per person. We started with a local guide taking us through the food markets which were located next door. At this stage it was lunchtime so the food had been out in the open for some time and had attracted lots of flies. Our guide assured us not... More

The first part of the course going through the market is a rush but still fun. The menu selection is massive and the chef in charge knew her stuff. She was friendly, helpful and made the course thoroughly enjoyable. It was excellent value for money. I'd say to improve they may want a more concise menu as we did need to... More

Class starts with a trip to the market-an info trip. Chatting about foods and spices, learning the uses of various veggies, fishes, etc. Hands on, lots of fun with our British and Filipino classmates. All recipes are emailed to you. Everyone in class helped each other, shared travel stories then we sat down to our creations which was more food... More

After satisfying my craving for a proper burger & fries washed down with a delicious fresh mango shake for lunch I decided to join the $15 cooking class for dinner ( can't go wrong for $15) . The nice thing is you choose your own starter and main course from the menu so pick things you like and plan on... More

If you are looking for a Michelin stared cooking school then give this a miss. After spending hours and days around temples and hearing about centuries of history what a great way to unwind and learn a little about Cambodian ingredients and cooking as well as meeting new people. This is a great 3+ hours where you choose from a... More

You don't really learn anything. The chef explanation are really too succinct and laconic. You're not going to buy anything at the market, you're just gonna storm it like a SWAT team. In and out in 10 minutes! If you want some explanation, stay close to the chef otherwise good luck! The cooking itself is a joke and our chef wasn't... More
