Free guided tour (tip the guide) of workshops where trainee craftsmen & women are learning traditional crafts. Great way to spend an hour if you're looking for a bit more Khmer culture than you'd find on pub street.

Your first stop in SR to see handicraft. Lots of different crafts are on display for sale. Everything is authentic and good quality. Many areas to explore so just go in a clockwise direction around the space. Silks are probably overpriced but other items are...More

Visit these workshops to see how the craftsmen and women make the stone and wood carvings. The art, clothes and jewellery are top quality at this centre which also trains all its artists and staff.

They give a free tour on 10 art-related workshops like sculpturing, carving, painting, jewelry-making with a tourist guide to give description on the things being done. The last stop is their shop where you can buy goods fit for bringing home for friends.

Well worth a visit. We saw many of these local crafts on our journey, but here, everything is in one place. Higher, but still cheap prices, with money going back into the enterprise and keeping people in work and traditional crafts alive.

This is a fantastic way to see how the wood and sandstone sculptures are created from scratch. When you arrive a tour guide (free, although you may want to tip) takes you through the workshop and explains what's happening. The tour guide was very knowledgeable...More
