During the day, this place isn't very special. However, at sunrise it's a totally different story. Watching the black sky turn red, orange and yellow while it's reflected in the water, really is worth getting up early for. Pack breakfast, get there are 5.30 AM...More

For us, it isn't that special so it isn't a must to visit there. If you have time, better go to the temples instead.

Our tuk tuk driver stopped off here on the way to Bantreay Srei so that we could admire the sunrise - it was only a quick stop but definitely worth it!

We had lunch at a nearby restaurant to Srah Srang - there's nothing really to see - basically it's just a reservoir/lake. We expected more - however you can get some good sunset photos from here.

Is just a big reservoir, not much to see. Probably sunset is amazing here, go see it if you are in the area if not skip it.

Yep it’s just a square lake not much to see, however if your nice hotel books you a private hut with your own chef and server and you spend time relaxing, eating nice food and having a swing in the hammock, well it's very civilised.

I only stopped and took a couple of photos since I was just across the street visiting another temple. This place is not exciting at all. It is just a lake.

Srah sarang provides a good view of the lake but thats about it. There is nothing much to see. It is part of large circuit tour so can be skipped by visitors.

First impressions are lovely tranquil site. Nothing much left to see but you get the feeling of why they chose the area. However lots of stagnant water with literally millions of mosquitos. Hubby got 6 bites in a matter of minutes. We dod walk round...More
