This temple complex includes within it the Bayon Temple. Very well maintained and reconstructed. If you do not visit this temple when visiting Angkor Wat you will be missing out.

While you are in the area, don't miss seeing Angkor Thom, a temple and accompanying structures that are being restored and are already very impressive.

We spent quite a bit of time here walking around and checking out all the temples. Love walking around Bayon and exploring all the smaller temples.. We went quite early but by 11 am it was super hot and sticky

Go to see the faces and see how perfect condition they are. Stunning. You should go in the morning as the light is beautiful on the temple walls.

This place is just amazing, especially once you hear about its history and the kind of earthworks that were needed to be done, the engineering involved, nothing was left to chance. It's just unbelievable and jaw-dropping the scale and wonder of this place.

Angkor Thom is actually a walled area where other temples are located within. You can take photos of the entrance gates but their isn't technically an Angkor Thom temple.
Hello; please could someone recomend a good tour guide for us? We are having a day here from our cruise and would really like to visit Angor Thom?
